In the fourth quarter of 2024, the fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on iOS in Spain showed notable trends, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at the top five apps in this category.

McDonald’s experienced a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 14.4K and peaking at 21.2K in early October. The app maintained a strong presence with weekly active users, ranging from 530K to a high of 644.8K in mid-November.

BURGER KING España showed a consistent download rate, starting at around 10.8K and reaching 12.1K by the end of December. Active user engagement also saw a steady increase, with figures climbing from 372.4K to 456.4K throughout the quarter.

KFC España #PolloPollo had a varied download trend, beginning at 11K and experiencing a dip to 5.4K in early November, before climbing back to 7.9K at the end of the quarter. Active users fluctuated, reaching a peak of 80K at the end of September and stabilizing around 52K by December.

Taco Bell España started with a significant download spike of 31.9K, followed by a decline to 3.4K in mid-October. The app saw a gradual recovery, ending December with 5.1K downloads. Active user numbers reflected a similar trend, beginning at 59.3K and ending with a moderate increase to 21.5K.

Popeyes® España experienced a steady download pattern, starting at 3.6K and reaching 5.5K in late November. Active users increased from 24.9K to a peak of 35.5K towards the end of December.
